The reason you see no point to bitcoin because for you it is true there is no point. Banks hate me and prevent me from easy access to finance whenever they can. I am a bad slave that does not conform to what they want me to do. Also, 2 billion people also do not have a bank account yet alone access to high finance or purchasing something over the internet. This is a small example of why bitcoin is 100x better than what we are using today.
