Cryptocurrency analyst, Crypto Michaël tells his 43,000 followers on Twitter that several key Bitcoin (BTC) price metrics are looking solid after Friday’s big 42% rally. Michaël says the current BTC price action is comparable to 2016 and his new Bitcoin price target is $17,000 to $20,000. On Crypto Twitter he shared: “100-Week MA test completed and held, similar to beginning 2016. Back above 200-Day MA & EMA, important indicators. Holding trendline as well. 2016 period and now are still comparable in which targeting $17,000-20,000 prior to halving is realistic.”
In other Crypto news, CryptoGainz tells his crew of 34,000 followers that he thinks XRP is a “powder key” that’s ready to burst. The analyst is looking for the XRP price to play catch up with Bitcoin and the rest of the market ahead of Ripple’s Swell conference in Singapore next month. Before the XRP Swell event in 2017, the XRP price shot up 115% and the next year, a much bigger spike of 220% was seen in its price. Based on these historical gains, XRP can jump anywhere between $0.30 to $0.60. However, once the event is over, XRP price losses as much as half of its value. The digital asset saw a drop of 42% and 51% in 2017 and 2018 respectively after the event.
